BCM replacement

Bought a replacement remanufactured BCM through a reputable parts source. The original module part number has been superceded 2 times so we received module that is current module. We provided the vehicle VIN. So should this type of part come programmed and ready to install in vehicle?

Hello, I'm Danny.

Yes, if the BCM was properly programmed it should be strictly plug-and-play. There might be a relearn procedure needed. I've attached picture steps below showing how to replace the BCM on your vehicle and have also attached the bcm relearn procedures. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
