I have 2012 Focus that was diagnosed with a bad BCM and have tried 3 new ones from the ford dealer and none of them will communicate with the PCM and the man that flashes the my computers for me says that as long as my Maximus scanner will not communicate with the PCM he can not flash the BCM due to the fact the PCM is the gateway module to the BCM.
The car came to me with the windshield wipers not working and with the original BCM in it I can communicate with the PCM so that tells me the wiring is good but as soon as I put in the new BCM's i got from the dealer I have no communication with the PCM.
Also with the original BCM in the car the Maximus scanner will communicate with 21 modules and with the new BCM's in it the Maximus will will communicate with 11.
Any ideas on what to look do next.
