Hi. A couple of weeks ago, my vehicle listed above stalled in the market parking lot. Battery light was on. I got a tow home, and called my mechanic. He came over and tested things. All seemed fine. We went for a little test drive, and same. Since then, no issues either. (Though my trips have been quite short.) I will be going on a long trip soon. Does it sound like I have something majorly to worry about or out look out for? The battery is only a month old. Alternator is the original. Thank you!

Hello, I'm Danny.

I would suggest having both the battery and alternator to being load tested. Most auto parts stores will do this for free. I'm leaning more towards the alternator as it's original and the battery is newer. It's possible the alternator is not properly keeping the battery charged. Here are three tutorials showing how to load test a battery and test as well as replace an alternator:

You will need to remove the serpentine belt to get access to the alternator. Here is a tutorial showing how to remove and replace the serpentine belt:

I've attached picture steps below on how to remove and replace the serpentine belt and alternator on your Suzuki. Keep us updated as to what you find. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
