Battery light turns on

Battery light comes on. Alternator is good. Changed battery and light still comes on and goes off.

How do you know the generator is good? It has an internal regulator that may be failing. So it could potentially put out the proper voltage at times but if that regulator is failing it can cause the light to come on.

Basically that light just indicates that the voltage is below the minimum threshold.
