Battery light turned on after driving through a puddle?

Hi Michelle,

Did the light ever turn off? Oftentimes, the belt gets wet and slips. However, the light usually turns off once it has a chance to dry a bit.

If it hasn't, I need you to check something for me. You will need a multimeter or voltmeter. Follow the directions in this link and let me know what you find:
