Battery had drained flat (?). So i jumped it from my Pontiac and it started. Shut truck off and it started so i decided to sleep with charger on battery. Woke up and it was drained flat and battery charger did not move, still at midpoint. Tried jumping it again, no joy, at first there was a click from starter, now nothing no lights or horn. Went to work and left charger on it. Might be good to say that lately there has been screeching from engine, like serpentine was slipping, but it would go away in a few minutes. This afternoon when i woke at 6:00 pm (night shift), with battery charger on it, it did not seem needle on battery charger changing at all. No lights horn and no click like it did previous at all.

I posted how to test your battery sounds like you could just have a bad battery.

Thank you, I thought I replaced this battery less than two years ago. But I will swap with my car after I get off work at 6:30 am.
Thank you

Okay you said you charged it all night and battery seemed drained after charging it all night. That is why I posted how to test the battery. That is where I would start before checking fuses etc.

Yes I appreciate the answer, just seemed weird that it kicked over with a jump from my Pontiac. Having my wife try to start it soon as I am at work.

If you have a bad battery why would it be weird that you can jump start the car? I jump start cars all the time and start them with bad batteries. You have to start with first is the battery good? If you charged the battery all night with how many amps was the charger putting out?

The reason I found it weird is that first it started with a jump, then I put it on a charger for four hours or so (When I woke up to go to work) and tried to jump it and no joy nothing no lights etc. Appreciate your feedback.

So you have a bad battery and an alternator that is not charging properly a draw on the battery etc. But we have to start somewhere before we start guessing it is this or that. So let's start with the basics by starting with checking the battery. Then move on you could have even blown fuses by jump starting it.

Yup the bolts were not tight. Tightened them and voila no more battery issue (yet anyways).
Thanks for all the assistance and guidance.
