Battery current sensor?

I have a battery current sensor that I unplugged but it won't reconnect now it has a check engine light on and says lost communication with battery sensor module but there's no corrosion or damage and nothing is wrong with the sensor what am I missing cause my scanner says bms relearn is unnecessary.

You will need to reconnect the battery currant sensor and then you may need to do the battery monitor reset as well. Here is a video to help if you need it, after the battery sensor is reconnected clear the codes.

It ended up being a bad pigtail connector.

Did it fall apart and is this why you could not get it back together?

The clip that locked it in place wasn't holding it anymore that's what the shop I took it to told me.
