New Battery already dead

My battery is dead and my interior lights have not worked since I have owned this vehicle. I drove it yesterday and when i went to leave this evening and the battery was dead. no dash lights and no sounds of it trying to start. I am not getting anything out of it. I have gone over everything. Battery was just replaced and the alternator has been replaced. I am lost with this.

First check battery for voltage with a DVM ,next check battery and cable connections for tightness and cleanliness. Recharge battery if reading is twelve volts or less after charging battery. check voltage down at starter battery post, if less than reading at battery it is a possible cable issue or internal corrosion.

If these easy things do not solve the problem, and your battery tests fine (not seems fine).

Symptoms seem to show either the battery or the alternator (not charging the battery) may be the problem.

Both can be tested at most auto parts stores usually for free!

If you can jump it/ charge the battery and get it to the parts store, both can be tested "on" the vehicle.

Should you need to purchase either, Before you compulsive buy, lLook at my link again towards the end of the thread is another link. The methods within it may save you some money at the store I use a lot, or even at others (using their own methods).
