barely starts and when it does it runs rough and shuts off?

So, i still can't get this car going. i need a fresh brain to look at it. It all started by running rough after my friend messed with it. i don't have a clue what he did, but he was checking the oil for her i guess, but he spent 30 minutes under the hood. I'm told it just quit running, i think there when they went to start it, it wouldn't start, the starter was out. i got a new starter, put it in and when started it was running rough like it wasn't getting enough fuel. i checked the pressure it was low, so i changed the filter nothing changed. so, i changed the pump and found nothing i found my code reader and it said my MAF sensor was bad, replaced that at this point it won't start at all. checked the cap and rotor were really bad, i replaced them and now i got an engine that won't hardly start and when it does its runs rough and stalls out in a few seconds. i really feel like it is the distributor. At this point i can't throw more money at it, i need help.
