ball joints

You can just replace the ball joints, but most times it is much easier to just replace the control arms. Especially if you are doing the job in your driveway. At least that is my experience. If you do decide just to replace the joints, you can borrow a ball joint press (helps you remove and install joints) from your local auto parts store.
