How to replace ball joints

This is not a do-it-yourselfer project. If you want to attempt this yourself, get a copy of the manufacturer's service manual and read through the many pages of instructions. Normally I do not recommend Haynes or Chiltons manuals because there is so much they do not cover, but check if they do cover this job.

You are going to need a ball joint press regardless if you are replacing the uppers or the lowers.
