Has cylinder miss with a flashing engine light only data is cylinder 4-6 intermittent miss car hasn’t been serviced for a while so put plugs, coil packs, fuel filter blew out air filter clean MAF and IAC valve looked over vac lines all look good, checked pump pressure 38-40 idle, checked regulator it checks out fine too. recently put new intake on old one cracked took for a drive and didn’t change anything have to barley give gas to get to speed if you romp down on it actually slows down and just bogs acts like plugged cat or fuel delivery problem. checked temperatures before and after cat to see if it’s restricted and didn’t have any significant temp changes to indicate blocked it don’t act like injector I’m going to run some fuel cleaner through it.so here’s we’re I’m at going check EGR system and remove TB and remove carbon deposits also read were wiring that runs behind cylinder heads could rub bare spots through so I will check that as well, has anyone else had similar issues? I’ve been a diesel tech for over 30 years this Ford driving me crazy after that guess I’ll run compression which I know is fine any insight be great.

I have seen the TPS sensor not respond so the computer does not know the throttle is being opened. You can use a voltmeter set to OHMs to check it. here is the location. Also see if the fuel pressure is stable when the throttle is opened.

Also make sure the grounds are clean and tight to the engine harness. Do you have the code numbers? Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
