Cranks no start possible bad fuel pump

My car just cranks and wouldn't start and if it did it stalled right out. I took the back line off the filter and turn the key and hardly any gas at all came out. does this mean my fuel pump is bad?

Can you hear the pump run when you turned on the key?

Yes, but the gas is trickle out of the line.

If you heard it run, then yes, you need a fuel pump.
