This car is a hybrid. Why is it that after turning on the air conditioning in the morning the A/C works for about ten minutes then begins to blow hot air for the rest of the time whenever it is working condenser fans works, compressor clutch works, blower motor works. after about ten to fifteen minutes it begins to blow hot air. appears like only the fan blowing, then when i check the hood the compressor clutch stops both fans stop. Also, sufficient refrigerant in. what could be the possible cause?

You do need to get the high and low pressure readings, just to start the diagnosis. one thing to check is that the heater blend door is not stuck open, bleeding hot air all the time. this can be checked with a factory scanner, it will monitor door motor operation and position. i have seen this problem on other makes before.

Okay thank you. I am in Jamaica. What do you call a factory scanner? I checked the high and low pressure reading twice at two different places and they both say sufficient refrigerant in it. Did not get the exact reading myself. Did not write it down.

Oh, also, at one point i went in the hood after turning the vehicle off, i can hear a leak of air coming from near the compressor. A hissing sound.

if the compressor is leaking this will be a problem, you need to get a refrigerant leak detector and see if the comp or the high or low side hoses are leaking
