Back wheel pointing outward after accident

Was in a accident yesterday.The pictures show damage done to the car.Can you tell me the exact names of the parts I may need to fix the vehicle from the photos?

It is hard to say at this point. I need more pictures as you have some damage back there.

Can you post more pictures? I see one piece off the bat but I need to see more..

what did you hit? The part I circled is called a tie rod. that is the only I can see that is a definite issue.

Can you get a couple more pictures from the side of the leading edge of the tire? Basically the damage is going to be on the front side of the suspension but you are going to need upper and lower control arms and possibly tie rod ends. However, if you get a picture from the front side we will most likely be able to point out the damaged parts.Thanks

Okay, got the pictures. That tie rod end is the primary failure and must be replaced.

That did not get bent from a soft hit of anything. It takes a big hit to bend that thick of a rod like that.

Once you get the tie rod replaced, you need to take it to a shop for an alignment. It will also tell you if there is any progressive damage from the hit. I think there is more damage but you need to start somewhere

When you get the alignment checked, get a copy of the results and post them here for me to see.
