Backup camera guidelines

Are you referring to the guidelines that turn when you turn the wheel? If so, I don't show that as an option on 2016. This is actually pretty common. There were some vehicles that had this option in 2016 but they become pretty common in 2017 and then are pretty much standard today.

I doubt there is a way to get them installed on your vehicle unless you go to an aftermarket system that offers this. The only way that I can see it would be possible is to swap out the camera and have the sales codes updated so that the BCM knows that they are there. However, I would check with the Ford dealer to see if that is even an option to be added.

That’s correct. My 2017 has the lines that turn when I turn the wheel. Which is really helpful. I was just curious if I could get it added. I have a couple other questions as well.

Yes. This would be a dealer added option if it is possible. The only way I could see it working is if they can install the camera and radio (if needed) out of a 2017 and then adding the sales code to get it to operate. Thanks
