i am trying to replace the cv axle. I have got it taken apart all the way down to the transmission. I can not for the life of me get the hub out of the transmission. Someone please help on how to get the hub out of the transmission.

Get a lever between the hub and the transmission, apply some force if it will not pop out the "C" clip that retains the shaft end will be stuck, so if this is the case, get an assistant to hit the side of the inner CV while you hold some pressure on it with the lever, it should pop out then.
