Hi, the problem I am having with my is that it goes out of gear (where the engine just revs) within about one to twenty minutes after heading out from sitting over night. I have to play with the gas pedal for it to get some forward movement, all the while the engine revs. Sometimes, I would need to drop it to second or first gear, just to get it to engage somewhat. After a while of this, it somehow runs decently again. Sometimes, it does go out of gear even when driving for a while.
I have taken it to a transmission shop, who said that they are having a difficult time figuring what causing the problem. He had it for a month, and I had him change the three shift switches in the transmission, the oil and filter, replace the throttle position sensor, and attempted to make numerous adjustments with the TPS, the shifter cables- all with no success. I even replaced the ECM, hoping that maybe it could be the culprit.
Can you please help me, since I really want to keep this vehicle?
