Automatic transmission issue

Hi,
I noticed that when I am using my car's automatic transmission on D position it is sticking on fourth then fifth without starting from first, second and third. Whereas on S manual position, I can control from first to fifth.

Good morning.

I would start by changing the oil/filter in the transmission. It sounds like a valve body issue from some debris in the passages.

Are there any codes stored in the system?
