Where to place check valves they look like ball bearings?

Hi,

If it's the 4 speed, I believe it is 40TE transmission. If you look at the attachments below, they provide the reassembly instructions for the valve body. I included all steps.

Additionally, it also shows the two check balls locations. I highlighted the heading on each of the relevant pages.
