Automatic trunk stopped opening/closing

Unfortunately, we don't have a manual on this vehicle as it is not offered here in the USA, but I am thinking we have a module issue. Can you get a recording of the noise so that we can get on the same page?

Here are a couple of guides that will help with this. Basically, we need to start checking for codes as there is likely a module failure or circuit failure that is causing the body controller to beep like it is, which is indicating the failure to open the trunk.

Here is a short video. The sound is coming from the left. I'll need to buy one of these diagnostic devices to get the error code, so it may take a few days.

Okay. Yeah. Unfortunately, we are not going to be able to offer specifics because we don't have a manual on this vehicle but that is a beep that is telling you there is an issue most likely with the liftgate control module which would most likely be where the beeping is coming from.
