Hi,

If this is an OEM amp, disconnect it and replace the fuse to see if the fuse still fails. If it does, then there is a short between the fuse and amp. If it doesn't fail, chances are there is an internal short within the amp.

Try this and let me know the results.

Take care,

Joe

Hi,

It sounds like there could be an internal short within the amp itself. Make sure none of the connector pins are bent or making contact with each other. If they aren't, the amp will likely need internal repair work or replaced.

Sorry I don't have easier or better news. If the fuse isn't failing when it is disconnected, that is the most likely cause.

Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Take care,

Joe
