Spark plug wire order

I have a 1981 Audi 4000 4 cylinder, 1.7l with about 80,000 miles. Some of the spark plug wires came off when I was changing the distributor cap. How can I find the right sequence.

most cars either have a decal in the engine compartment, or the firing order stamped on the manifold somewhere.
