dear all'
i have an audi 80E 2.0 1992....the problem is that it cuts on & off while stepping on the gas & it consumes a lot of fuel.....what we did till now is:
injection head & regulator cleaned....air filter changed....fuel pump changed...fuel filter changed....4 injectors changed.......on the c/o machine it gives an excellent figure.......main chest belt changed.....engine oil cooler changed.....coolant sensor changed.....oxygen sensor changed.....but still huge fuel consumption & cutting on & off.....!!!!!

Hi there,

I would be checking the TPi sensor, first check for any set codes, and if clear i would be doing a manual inspection of the sensor as it may be out of calibration, this will not give a fault code, but will up set the ECU with conflicting input signals. Try this first.
