The parking break will not disengage when using the console parking brake lever. Is there a way to manually release the parking brake.

Hi Zekejohn, Sorry for the delay in replying and thank you for the donation. After checking through the repair information, there were no mention of any manual way to disengage the park brakes. Diagnostics would require the use of VAS5051, a diagnostic system. The only way to disable the park brakes without any special diagnostic tools would be to remove the actuator at the brake calipers. Item # 2.
