I just bought a used car last week an 05 Audi A6 2.0 TDI and today i got an error message. parking brake malfuction can you tell me if this is a big job cost whise or can it be fix easy enough?

Check your fuse box in the trunk, refer to owners manual - fuse for electromechanical brakes. Remive them, reinsert and apply parking brakes that should reset them. if not a problem exists, Probably $300-400
