Hi... I have a 2000 Audi A6 Quattro with 2.8L engine, got a P0154 error code stating "O2 sensor circuit no activity detected". This code has come and gone on its own, and I'm trying to replace the sensor to fix it. Would you please kindly tell me how to access the O2 sensor and what special tools are needed?
Just some additional information, not sure if it helps:
symptoms: I know this sounds voodoo, but the code seems to come on when its raining and sometimes goes away after it rains. The car experiences rough idle in drive and neutral with RPMs wanting to drop below 600 instead of staying at 700 when the code comes on.
milage: 89000
repairs: changed battery, not changed time belt.
Thanks in advance!
