99 A4 driver's window

I have an Audi A4 where when the up button is pushed the driver's window goes up very slowly and then goes all the way back down alone. What's wrong with it?

Could be either the regulator or the window motor.The best way to verify which is to remove th edoor panel for a visual inspection. If nothing appears wrong, then it is probably the motor
