My 2004 Audi A4 1.8T quattro sometimes stalls after I start it. It always starts on the second try. I have only owned it for a week. What could be causing this?

Possible vacuum leak or problem with the throttle body.

Usually the throttle body only requires a cleaning and adaption. It will need to be done by somebody who has access to a VW scantool because of the adaption required after cleaning.

Thank you! I just had the throttle body cleaned before I purchased it from the dealership (not Audi or VW). I bet they did not perform the adaptation because they probably don't have a VW scantool. I'll take it to the right place this time (:

Sounds like it may be a simple solution then. Glad to help...
