1995 Audi 90 sun roof

The sunroof of our '95 Audi opens completely. When you try to close it, itonly closes about 1/3 shut before stopping. I've tried reversing it part way,then going forward. I've tried reversing it all the way, then taking it forward a little at a time. Nothing seems to work. Any ideas? Any ideas how I can just get it shut?

Check the sun roof the rails, where it rides on, maybe when you were parked in the shade, something fell out of the tree and is jamming the roof from closing, also take some WD-40 and lube up the rails, after you have done that when closing help with your hand to see if you can move it while you are operating at the very end
