My car had the a/c compressor replaced but the cold air charge only lasted a couple of weeks before the cold went away. I had it recharged but it did not last long. A couple days later the heater core went. I just had it repaired. Would the problem with the heater core have caused any type of problem with the A/c ?

Hi there ,

There will be no connection between the heater core problem and the A/C, you will have a leak in the A/C system, often they are quite small and are hard to find, so what you do is get a small charge of refrigerant with a leak detector dye added, the dye will stain with a very bright colour where it is leaking, this will usually only take a day or so to work, try this.
