1991 Audi 200 intank fuel pump replacement

Ok first off no need to remove the fuel tank. You get into you trunk remove the cargo mat and you should find a plate that is held by a screw, remove the screw and plate. Now you are seeing the fuel pump and sending unit from the top. Now disconnect the battery and then unplug the wires from the sending unit and then remove the fuel lines. Now there is a ring that hold the sending unit in place remove it. Now pull the assembly out and the fuel pump is on the bottom of that. Now switch out pump and put back in reverse order.
