1990 Audi 100 stalls when braking

1990 Audi 100 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 150k miles

when i slow to a stop the car stall out then it restarts and stalls and then next stop any ideas on how to fix this problem or if its transmission , electrical, or braking problems... any ideas would be great..

Most likely a torn diaphram in brake booster. With engine running in park apply brake engine die? if yes booster faulty
