ATC Drivers side temperature control not working

The drivers side temperature control no longer regulates the drivers side temperature. I have a 2010 Town and Country Van with Automatic Temperature Control. It has two rotary knobs to set Drivers sides and Passenger side temperatures. On the drivers side, you can turn the temperature knob to any temperature, and the number changes, but the vent output is whatever the outside air is. However, the passenger side temp control works normally. I assume this is either an electronic malfunction where the correct signal is not being sent to a damper control or a mechanical problem. Has anyone experienced this type of problem and what did they do? Thank you for your time.

you might try pulling hvac fuse for 60 seconds then reinstalling it may reset the actuators.

Fixed the problem myself. I removed the drivers side covering under the steering wheel, and the metal plate under the steering column to gain access to the actuator. I unplugged the actuator wiring harness, and removed the two screws that hold the actuator in place. I then opened up the actuator to verify the motor was free and all gears were freely moving. I then plugged it back in before re-installing to verify that when you change the drivers side temperature it rotates. It did. Then I verified that the actuator connection point on the damper moved freely, and it also did. I then re-installed the actuator, letting it spin into place till it was seated back in the mounting area. Reassembled everything and now it works.

Oh, and I also tried the HVAC fuse reset suggestion and that did not change anything. But thank you for the suggestion.
