I started to have transmission trouble with less than 160,000. Took it to a reliable shop and also got a second opinion. Both places could not believe it and said these are supposed to basically last forever. The shop had a hard time finding one. They did and had a remanufacture one put in. It is now 2023. I have not done a transmission fluid replacement and filter or a flush yet. About 2 months ago. I noticed that auto repair shops have to without me telling them. At times when i take off it seems to jump in gear/ not smooth at times. What do you think may be the problem and should i or a shop do the above? I know about 60,000 on the remanufactured transmission.
Thank you for your help.

The first thing I would do is check the transmission fluid level, it could be low, this guide can help:

Next, I would run the codes because I have seen the input shaft sensor go bad and cause this problem, but the scan should help confirm the issue.

Here is the location is the primary speed sensor. Check out the images (below). Please let us know how it goes.
