How to fix a broken headlight adjuster?

If it has come apart that far the internal plastic that holds those parts must have broken. Those are not replaceable parts as the headlamp does not come apart. The only repair is a replacement headlamp assembly. Replacement takes some time but really isn't that difficult, even though you need to remove the nose of the car. You remove the fender liner first, that allows you access to the front fascia fasteners behind it. With it out of the way you remove the screws that secure the lamp assembly to the core support. Remove the screws, disconnect the harness and swap the light out. Reverse the process to put it back together. A couple tricks that make it easier, get the front of the car up high as you can. then on the liner, you don't have to fully remove them, just enough that you can reach in behind them to release the pins. They are an expensive part, but I would say that the OEM units are far better than the aftermarket parts in fit and function. You might be able to save some money if you find a used assembly. If you go to www.car-part.com and enter in your information it will show you salvage yards around, you that have them in stock. Try to find ones that are A quality as there are times when the other ratings mean things like mounting brackets are broken or the lens is scratched. Most of the yards on there will ship as well, if they are not real local.

I have 2014 Chevy Camaro LT with the RS style xenon HID halo projector headlights. I recently replaced the HID bulbs and realized that the passenger side projector lens had come completely loose and fallen almost to the bottom of the light assembly and also that the top half of the vertical aiming arm/screw had broken off. How can I replace the adjustment screw without replacing the entire headlight assembly?

You might not be able to, if you can upload an image of the problem I can better tell you how to proceed. They may not sell the adjuster screw separately. Here is how to replace the headlight housing and the bulb correctly to help you in the meantime. Check out the images (below). Yep, that is a bummer, you may be able to remove the headlamp housing and super glue the parts back together. if not, it is time for a new part which I would try to get from ebay. Have a great thanksgiving and get back to me when you can.
