Anti skid light and repair indicator comes on

Good afternoon

Wow, expensive guess. the ABS as its own module and stores a code. You need to have that code read so we can narrow the area of failure without you guessing any more expensive parts.

Repair light? Please explain.

Thanks ever for the insight. Yes, the module probably is defective. By the repair light i meant that a normal trouble light (check engine light) does not come on. Rather, it is a symbol of a mechanics wrench and the anti skid mechanism. So, probably this implies that something is wrong with the anti skid (brake?) system. I Had a mechanic read the codes today while the light was on. He wanted me to take it in on Friday because he was not sure if it was a "upper" or "lower" sensor or the entire module. Anyway, he said I was safe to drive because the code said my steering was off on the left side, but if I can steer I could keep driving. So, I am still a bit confused because I will probably end up paying another $800.00 or so.

Trailblazers are known to have this light come on.

Okay, I do not understand as there is no upper or lower sensor.

You can drive it but the stability control is disabled until you have it repaired.

Keep me updated and specifically ask for the code number and let us know.
