Ambient air temperature sensor location

Good morning,

Is this the sensor for the air conditioner or for the engine system?

How do you know it is a failure?

This is the sensor for outside air temperature.
The reading of the outside temperature shows (-- --). I bought the sensor from the dealer (shown in the video), but don't know the exact location.

I cannot find a picture for you but it is in the front on the radiator support. It may be when you open the hood mounted on top of the radiator support or it could be at the bottom by the front bumper cover.
