I recently had to replace the alternator. At the time I did n'o realize there was a difference in how the voltage is regulated. My old one was external, and the replacement is internal. Do I need to worry about the coil, or the charging system?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

there may have been a diagram for install on this especially since it's a different type. check on line or the Mustang forums, you may be ok but if it doesn't charge you'll have to see about wiring it different.
