Alternator replacement Can't remove bottom bolt.

What seems to be the issue? Can you not get to it? Is the head rounded off? Is the bolt frozen?

The bottom bolt on the 4 cylinder won't back out all the way so it's impossible to get the bolt out without cutting a hole in the metal of the tire well or something. I get it out to the where the back of the bolt is hitting the tire well but the bolt still has 1.5" to go to be able to pull it out. I'm about to just cut the darn bolt but then how would I get one back in....

Okay. I attached the instructions and it looks like they are telling you to loosen the bottom bolt in step 8. That means just remove the threads from the bracket and leave the actual bolt in the alternator and then when you remove the top bolt, you will be able to turn the alternator with the bolt still in the alternator and when you turn it, you will be able to remove it.

However, there are a few videos on YouTube that show you how to remove them. I don't want to post them here because they are pretty amateur.
