Alternator harness

My battery light keeps coming on shorting everything out the alternator has been tested the harness has only one wire the battery is new and can't firgure out the problem don't have the money to take it to the dealer ship need answers

check fusible link in picture. you will have to look for it but it says in picture. also a mechanic may need to scan for codes to see if logic is bad in instrument cluster. any garage can check it with a scanner and not necessarily a dealer and they can be rebuilt. see picture.
