Alternator fuse replacement

You'll need to remove the 10mm bolts that hold down the fuse box (if you haven't that is),then lift the entire fuse box to make room for the smaller porting that will slide down and out of the main box, but first to separate the upper from the lower half you'll need a couple of pocket screwdrivers and plenty of patience, just release each tab one at a time while pulling down on the lower half until it is separated, then release the tabs that hold the part of the fuse box that is holding the alternator fuse and slide it downward, then you'll be able to access the bolts that hold the fuse on. I've included a Toyota fuse box that is similar to yours, but they are essentially the same.

Thank you for your time. Essentially I have gotten all that done, however I can't get the alternator fuse box to lower from the case. I was trying to find out if it is also being held in place by tabs, or if it is stuck. At the moment it isn't budging. Should i just be able to push it down and out?

Oh okay, I wasn't sure how far you had gotten. Yes it should slide down and out after you release the tabs. In the picture I added you can see the scratch marks where the person used a small screwdriver or a pick to release the tabs. Sometimes it can be a little difficult to slide down because of warpage from excess heat, nevertheless it has to go down after the tabs are released.
