Alternator wiring where does the black cable go

On the alternator itself, there are no black wires. Black usually indicates a ground, but I can't say that until I know where the opposite end is attached. I attached a picture below which shows the three wires from the alternator. There is a red which has a yellow tracer on it. Here is the alternator wiring diagrams below and a guide to help testing.
