Alternator blowing up!!!

I have an infinity g35 2003. The car wouldn't start anymore because of a drained battery. I changed the battery and alternator twice! and after 6 hours of use, alternator blew up. would it be a short somewhere causing that? Please help!

Yes most likely, unless it was an old battery and was sulfated. The alternator should be protected by a fusible link.

i tested the battery voltage and its good
