I have a message on my dash saying check charging system i have replace the battery and the alternator and is still coming up check charging system. can it be the belt and pulley? it just happen out of no where. i was about to make a turn my lights on my dash started flickering inside the car and then it shut off. i need help.

Did you charge the battery with a charger? That is the first step.

Then you need to test the voltage at the battery with the engine running to see if the alternator is working.

Hey, yes i put a charge battery and it still saying check charging system. Can it be the belt or pulley? Also when I check the connector to the alternator there was no power or ground. what can that be? is there fuse I have to check? Because I don't know what fuse to check.

Yes, it could be but I can tell by the voltage reading. That is why I have requested this reading.

I test that with a multi meter correct? i have but don't know how to use it. what i have to do?
