What alternator works for my car

I don’t know what type of alternator I have. I’m trying to replace it and the guy on the phone said it would be one of two. #1 has a flat middle
#2 if it had v shape middle
I have a2003 Mercedes c230 Kompressor sport edition.

I attached the picture of the part numbers. The difference would be due to different manufacturers. More then likely Mercedes made a change of suppliers in mid year so you need to look at what you have on your vehicle and then order accordingly. Can you get a few pictures of the alternator on the vehicle and we can go from there?
