Alternator removal issue?

We have to replace the alternator and while we have detached it, we can't get it out of the engine bay. It has been suggested to remove the second fuel filter housing and remove it through that space, but we are stuck because it doesn't seem to want to be removed.

As far as the removal of the alternator, could you possibly take a few pics of the location of the alternator and pics below and above it? Hopefully, I will see something that will help.
