So about three weeks ago I noticed that my car has lost a lot of power. And it is also guzzling a lot of gas way more than normal. Ten one of the readers on the car dash, popped up, tsp sensor fault. Then, it's disappeared. So when I got home, I googled What could cause that warning light because I figured there was really nothing wrong since it disappeared. That was a big mistake.Because it told me so many different things that could be wrong and throw that. So I asked around if any of my friends had an o b d scanner, one did, but he didn't really let me look at it.He just was real quick.Boom boom boom, and I seen the code pop up.That said p0123.. I believe. So I looked that up and it said, high voltage oxygen sensor. So I looked that up and that led me to the upstream oxygen sensor needing to be replaced. Is this correct?

Hello,

P0123 indicates the engine computer is seeing too high a voltage from the throttle position circuit. So this means the throttle body is not reading correctly which can cause the car to have no power and poor gas milage, so I would get a new or good used unit for ebay and install it. So it looks like the throttle body is down low and you will need to remove the AC compressor which is a bummer but it needs to be done. Here is what the throttle body looks like which is access from under the car. Clear the codes once the repair is completed. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes. Ken

Oh, my god that sounds like a lot for me. My husband was a mechanic, but he passed away two years ago.And I never realized how much work goes into everything he did. I went out and bought my own obd.Scanner last night so i'm gonna hook it up and see what it says. I'm sure she's sure after doing that.I will have another question for you.Thank you so much for your help.I really appreciate it.I've already wasted over $375 into this probkem By buying the upstreams, oxygen sensor that somebody told me to buy and hiring a mobile mechanic who did absolutely nothing for me so I really appreciate you
