All problem lights go on abs, trac, brake, pcs

When first started no warning lights are on but after the second start all five warning lights are on and the power steering feels a litter harder to use. I have checked brake sensors wires and they seem ok. A mechanic says I need some very expensive parts to fix the problem, I checked with a dealer and the price, would you believe 3,000.00. The car isn't worth that much. If you have an answer I would loe to know it. Thank you.
