i can jump the pins on the ALDL of an old GM with the engine running and tell if it's in open or closed loop.

can the same be done with a dodge?

(PS i hate dodges, i dont know why i answered this guy's question in the first place)

I know how to pull the codes, (although i've never had to do the gear shifter thing.)

I want to know if the old dodge system can tell you when it goes in to closed loop while the engine is running.

or more to the point, i want to verify that a car is going into closed loop.
